Fixed IDP and non-symmetric eyes

So I ordered a Lenovo Explorer from the States ($USD99 vs +-450 euro here). If it goes nowhere I just sell it on ebay. In any case, I was wondering if people here know about VR and non-symmetric eyes, particularly when using sets that dont have physical changes to IPD settings like the Explorer. Apparantly my IPD is 33+34, so one eye is 1mm more off-center than the other. I had no idea, but a lovely local optometrician measured it for me. Is this going to be a big deal?

No one has a completely symmetrical face. The IPD is simply the distance measured in millimeters between the centers of the pupils of the eyes.

1MM SHOULDN'T be a huge deal. My son and I share my Rift, his IPD is 2mm less than mine, I've set it to split the difference and frankly if there is any blurring I can't see it.

Some people may be more sensitive than I am though, so as with almost everything VR related: YMMV
