Fixed Pulse Laser Upgrades (where)

I'm aware they exist but cant find any.

They are for my Eagle to replace the -loaner- ones. (I have a cobra and a type 6 but I like the the Eagle for bounty hunting)

My home base system is LHS 1914 and I've been all over that areas systems looking with no luck.

I just brought my Eagle to Aulin heading to Styx/I Bootis/Opala etc to check next as Aulin had nada neither did Ross 878 (high-tech).

Anyone seen Fixed Pulse Laser upgrades for sale in this area?
(or also the upgrade to the 21k credit fixed cannon too)
And has anyone made a a semi-database for items yet?

Set your map filter for High Tech and start checking the closest ones other than those you say you've tried, shouldn't take too long I suspect.

EDIT: Actually maybe I don't know what you're talking about. Upgrades? As in keeping the same laser but upgrading it? I didn't know that was possible

No, you are correct I am looking to replace the 2 loaner fixed pulse lasers on the Eagle, Maybe I shoulda said replacement not upgrades.

Yea, after checking those 2 high tech systems I was like, well high tech obviously dosen't mean cheapie fixed pulse lasers.

You need to get a ship with class 2 hardpoints to get bigger pulse lasers. There are no "upgrades" within the same class, unless you're talking about the focused/overcharged variants (and those seem to be mysteriously missing from the game since Launch).

Apparently the quality variance mysteriously disappeared after Gamma, so only the testers who acquired them during Gamma are running the higher quality versions.

The freebie fixed pulse lasers are as good as any Class 1 fixed pulse lasers (bar overcharged and focused, which are currently not available). Class 2 pulse lasers you will likely find in lower tech systems.
Some stuff about that in my sig also.

Edit: And to add, pulse lasers are excellent weapons. I use them on many setups with great success.
