Fixing paths

I searched for the answer, but I didn't locate anything as the results were saturated with different problems.

I had a straight path, I placed a service next to it. Later, I removed the service and it left a crooked edge to the previously straight path. Is there a way to fix this?

I tried removing the path, but it's in a busy area that connects to other services and side paths, so I'll have to replace the whole area that way.

I'm hoping there is an easier method to re-straightening a path. Thanks.

EDIT: I have tried putting a service building back there and it still leaves a portion of the curb bulging inward instead of the previously straight line.

Working with paths has a few quirks and annoyances that you have to become familiar with, so you can avoid them or work around them in the future. Deleting intersections is one of them.

Anyway, yes, you can fix this. Just delete the section of the main track with the remains of the previous intersection on it. As soon as you delete it, the remaining path should instantly autocomplete to fill the gap you just made, and it will on longer have the remains of the intersection there. At least, that's how it usually works. Sometimes it doesn't, in which case you have to delete a little more path and then rebuild it manually. Also, if you altered the topography in that area after you built the main path, it won't autocomplete and sometimes you can't even rebuild the path manually back the way it was before. So then you have to delete a larger section of path, smooth out the terrain, then build the path back on top.

Usually, the above trouble is caused placing the shop too far from the main path for it to autoconnect, and then building the path to the shop from the existing path to the shop. If the shop autoconnects, or if you manually build the shop path from the shop to the existing path, usually deleting the shop path won't leave the remains of the intersection on the main path.

I have found iat certain times that I am able to just use the curb on and off key and going over that area. Also try changing the tile and rehanging it back. Just a few more suggestions...
