I have noticed the last few landings that I have done, various noises as you glide, including bangs, pops and what can best be described as a "thruppp". I thought that they were some sort of audio clue that you were about to come out of the glide. However, on the last couple, I noticed a flash from the planet surface at the same time as the 'thrupp'. I tried to land about where the flas was, but found nothing interesting. Do we know what this means? Have I missed something?

Is it an NPC jumping or entering SC? If you've ever been close to one, or even another Commander jumping or entering SC, they make a similar noise to what you describe.
Didn't appear to be - I do not recall another ship on the scanner at the time.
I can back you up on that one.
Also sounds like a ship dropping from SC but again there is nothing on the scanner. It always makes me look as I think a ship has dropped out behind me.
