flashlight at night

Cool idea, but you don't normally see people with flashlights walking around a theme park. Maybe if theirs a natural disaster (potential expansion pack) and the power goes out, the park employees could go around using flash lights. I think it makes more sense to just but lights in the tunnel rather than using flash lights on a regular basis. Still, a great idea.

OP: if you mean while you are creating caves, yes, that would be a neat option. Once you have your caves, easy enough to drop lights in place, which is more or less what you are asking for? Could just be a simple toggle to 'brighten' the view while using deform tools underground?

On this same topic(well not really), how about peeps being able to buy all those cool flashlight toys and spiny things the theme parks sell before parades and such? This might be a substantial drain on CPU/GPU resources though. Random peeps with those fiber optic spin toys, or various similar options sold from vendor carts? At least this way, it could tie into the 'theme' aspect of the game. I think peeps with bright shinning flashlights might be too much though. Just a dim, ambient glow would be perfect [happy]

I like your idea about peeps being able to buy the toys, I know i've been saying a lot could come in expansion packs this seems like another that would fit in a parade/event expansion pack. Maybe sell some other toys at the gift shops.

Personally I don't want anything as an expansion pack, I want it in the base game if It's going to be there.

Honestly the flashlight is a cool idea but I rather would want to have an option to remove night time at least for sandbox modes. Campaign is a different thing but the nighttime bothers me a lot. It's really dark.
I always pause when it's high noon but that is just a temporary solution.

Pausing at high noon doesn't always work, especially when trying to create a totally underground park.
