I just recently got reminded again (by making a trigger sequence for a Flatride) that we cannot trigger Events for Flatrides as soon as the Ride starts. It will only start after the Startup Sequence is complete. Which is less then Ideal. It just looks silly that the Ride starts Moving and the Triggers start 20 Seconds or so later.
I understand that a Flatride has to get into a certain Position (to get to a Animation Start and End Point) and i don't even want to be able to touch those. But what i would really like is that the Trigger Sequence really starts when the Ride is starting to Move.
You could for example show the Startup Sequence in the Ride Sequencer as the very first Event, but grey it out, so it cannot be removed or moved. But it should be made so that i can link Triggered Events to it.
