Flatten terrain path - allow to go up/down

Flatten terrain feature for paths is great. One thing that I guess could be possible (from devs side of view) but that would save hours and hours of work is enable up/down path.
When you go up, there would be flat gradual uphill for the road created (now it creates elevated road). When down, flat downhill.

You can sorta get a flatten path that goes up/down by ... first, placing your path at the lower point, then going to the upper point (with flatten terrain off an using control to keep it from auto linking to your 'lower' bit), and placing the upper path. At this point the two sections should not be connected. Then, turn on Flatten Terrain and click on one end point and, if the two sections are not too far apart, the flatten terrain tool will connect the two points as well as build the usual terrain around them. It's finicky and I found it by accident and it doesn't work if the two points are too far apart but it's possible to force Flatten Terrain to build a slope for you. It tends to be a bit steep, sometimes.

Gotta love the PZ pathing system ... 'cause that's all we got, lol.

It's really finicky and doesn't work half the time 😅 But yeah, this is the only way to do it currently.

Wow, didn't know that. It is not life savior but it will do for now, I guess. Thank you.
But still, possibility to flatten terrain up/down would be great!
