Do ship in conflict zones count as 'military' instead of 'combat'?
So....these are supposed to be commonly dropped by combat vessels? Nonsense. I've been in a tonne of conflict zones and not ONE has been dropped. Any ideas? Because I haven't seen a single one.

Excuisite are still among the most diffucult to get mats.
I get these as 4-5 packs from missions. By selecting this reward, you usually have to give up ~3 Million payout. Quite pricey, these crystals.
What I don't get is, for these low-grade "common" mats, why I can't make them myself by deliberately breaking some higher-grade stuff.
I walk into an Engineer's workshop with a bagful of perfectly ordinary focus crystals I found in pirate debris. Engineer says they won't do, he needs flawed ones. Weird, but OK, I can make flawed ones.
[shakes bag, slams it into the counter a few times]
There. Now they got flaws. What's that, you need some "crystal shards" now? Ok, sure. Can I borrow a hammer?
(wish they'd put the Naphtha Tanker etc back the way they were and include better loot in the Cargo hold for Pirates... *Le sigh*)
OP. I've got 182 you can have, never use them. I got them from haz res bounty hunting.
