Fleet carrier abuse

It didnt take long for Fleet carriers to get abused. Farming credits selling on ebay shocking making an ingame thing now. Billions for sale nothing done about it.

OP, I search ebay for anything like what you're talking about. Didn't find it. When you report it to Frontier bring facts.
Your ebay skills are rusty.
Easily found...

From the ad;

"This is a listing for my services (no physical item will be shipped) on Elite Dangerous for Xbox One, PC or PS4. You will land on my fleet carrier and I will gift you 1 billion credits ( 1,000,000,000 CR ). Must bring a cargo ship with at least 200 cargo to speed up the process. All transactions are video recorded for proof of sale."

It should be very easy to get rid of this guy. They are ranked Champion in CQC. Just ban everyone with a CQC rank of Champion and above from the game, and he will be gone.

Have you reported it to FDev? Or just had a whinge here?

not to be rude, but he just said so on frontier's forum.

if frontier don't read their own forum and don't pay attention that would be their own g problem, since it is their own game too. nb: same goes for bugs. any developer would be grateful to be notified about issues in their software on whatever channel, and would probably do something about them.

not frontier, they just set up a cumbersome special issue tracker so customers can go through the effort to report defects there, which they can then ignore them without a worry in this world.

so what do we need, a black market tracker too?

Why does this matter? Credits are nothing in this game anymore. If someone's dumb enough to spend $90 on that who's the real loser.

to me it doesn't. frontier says it is against the rules for some reason, so it should matter to them.

I've used ebay for over a decade. It's great. Its' not the web site that is B.. S.... It's the post.
Buyer beware!
Unless you are looking at the goods in person, which you can't do online, very carefully read through everything.
When you reach the bit that states "no refunds" - walk away, it's likely a scam. Always read reviews, but take with a pinch of salt, as reivews can be fake.

It's just the way I personally view online buying, I don't trust other's particularly when it comes to online sites & always look for the 'am I being ripped off' situation.

Selling credits doesn't really give you any advantage over any other player, it's a few hours work from scratch to afford a Cutter for example.

Where the problem may lie is in people selling accounts with multiple fully engineered ships of all shapes and sizes, but even that is up for debate.
