General Fleet Carrier Cargo Load/Unload

1. Loading/unloading is not progressive (like in station UI). Loading 700 units of cargo is sooooooooooooooooo long.
This should be progressive, longer the pressing - faster the loading.

2. "Load all" button is not working if amount of cargo in FC is bigger than max capacity of ship.
Let auto-fill ship's cargo hold using priority "from above to below" by clicking the button.

It's been like that since Fleet Carriers were launched, this is not the first time the issue has been raised.

The more it gets repeated and the more the bad UI design gets highlighted, the higher the chance something will get done about it. Rebalancing passes to Combat and soon to engineering wouldn't be happening if there wasn't a million threads complaining about it.

Oh I don't disagree, but maybe an existing thread should be used, spamming the forums with multiple thread about the same subject just gets multiple threads closed or deleted.
 
It is really stupid you have to do those transfers one tonne by one click.
Even the original ELITE had the options of type in desired amount of cargo to buy / sell along with option to buy all of one type of of cargo at a time (all available or up to max free cargo space, which ever was smaller) and sell all you have of one type at a time, with a single keypress.
 
So I've flown over to CEOS/SOTHIS for some feddie rank grinding and credits yet every time I pick up passanger missions I get wanted for carrying illegal passangers yet nothing about any of the missions I take says this. I check the VIP's profile to see if they are high value or wanted, I check all the mission desc, I check everything and nothing shows thay are illegal yet I still always get that little wanted thing. Which sucs because last time I tried to fly with it I got blown up the moment I left the station and put back to Maia. Any reason this is happeneing? What am I missing?

Supporting this.
Transferring 700 tons to/from carrier is a way too slow process
 
I'm doing the same, but it's not always optimal and it should be nothing more than a temporary workaround.
Well... not so temporary when it's like that for almost 21 months already
Why is it not optimal? The only options we have had is to buy from FC market quickly, or to transfer to cargo slowly (for large amounts) so makes some sense.
Granted the buy order is optional, as cargo may be transferred all at once, but overall the method does consistently work, and evades the error in transferring stolen goods direct to ship cargo that has existed for a couple of updates.

Making the most of what we have, rather than regret that we don't, makes sense, until Frontier change things, which doesn't appear to be a high priority, currently.
 
Why is it not optimal?

Not everything can be set as a buy order either because it simply cant or because it will lose certain properties (mining commodities will lose mined tag if you get them through the buy/sell market)
Hence we have to rely on the extremely slow transfer function

This is a major pain in the cargo hatch !

Edit : I'd say just add a button "Fill" on each commodity that fills to max with the selected ressource.
-> quick, easy, efficient
all we need !
