Ships Fleet carrier disembark problem

I was disembarked in my carrier jump, but had a drop out.
Reloaded the game and could not activate the embarkation into my ship.
Luckily I had a wingman on board and he could activate it so I stood beside him and entered my ship.
I can't disembark from my ship while in the hanger. I think some bug is at work or there is a setting that needs attention.

Can anybody help me sort it out please.

What does that mean? Were you on foot in your carrier, did a carrier jump then the game crashed?

One of your ships in a hangar or on foot in the fleet carrrier?

Activate what? The blue field to enter a stored ship? How did a wingman help witth that? Going where?

OK, no on on foot disembark from your hangar ship to your fleet carrier? That certainly sounds like a bug. I don't know of any Controls binding that would effect this. HOTAS, keyboard and mouse, Xbox ot PS4 gamepad when you set up the basics it is included. Maybe somewone else knows more and will reply.

Then with a fleet carrier there are lots of Forum threads when weird things happen. If I'm in a ship in my hangar and tell the FC to jump 500 years it always woirks. On the FC bridge watching it should work but then there are threads where it didn't. Being greative you send your fleet carrier to a system taking 15 minutes then outside in your 60 LY Asp Explorer fly there and record it on video when it arrives. It doesn't always work maybe with bugs.

So if you cannot disembark on your fleet carrier maybe a few options.

1. Blow away your control bindings and reprogram them again.
2. Leave your FC and land again.
3. Pick another ship in your hangar fly away and land again.
4. Go to a local orbiting station, buy a Sidewinder without weapons then pick a fight with an NPC or your
'wingman' to kill you. Then see if after the rebuy can land the Sidewinder on your FC and disembark.
5. Send in a trouble report to Frontier. Maybe you will get an answer. Maybe not.

Sorry if my reply seems to you I was breating you but not! I Sometimes think too deeply missing the forest for the trees. If you can provide more detaled infomation into what exactly happened there is someone on the Forum who has been there and done that. Ler's hope that they are still aroud.

I don't understand what you're saying happened, but have you tried simply exiting the game, to the desktop, and then restarting it?

Because nothing you described up there makes sense.

Then maybe this must have been the wingmans ship and not your ship and he invited you to board his ship. Can you go back to the concourse and try to get back to your hanger from there?

What happened doesn't make sense. I had a wingman who boarded my ship. As crew. Then I jumped my carrier.
We lost instance while on carrier. So we logged off then on again. He was fine with his ship. Then I went to where the blue entry point for my cutter should be. (Nothing) Tried different jumps, moving, logged off, then on again. Instance was fine again. My ship had no blue entry point.
My friend stood in the right spot and he was able to activate MY entry point. We both entered my ship.
Things were fine from then on, except I can't leave my ship while in the hanger. Only on the pad.
It is not a big deal for me due to severe vertigo.
I have not disembarked except to use an SRV once. No problems there.

Checking bindings, wondering about the setup. All seems good.
Yes, concourse to hanger. did not work. I was not on his ship at all.
Question: When on the pad on foot, can you enter the fleet carrier?

If you disconnected he would have likely been in his ship when you reconnected, for some reason manual multi-crew doesn't work well over disconnections and players are often moved to their last location/ship, and if you are multicrew and he is in his ship when you go to the hanger you will go to the hanger with his ship, at least I think that's how it should work.

Varonica: I was never on his ship. He was on mine. And he seems to have no problems entering his ship and leaving.

Then it's his ship you are trying to enter. Get him to log off and exit multi-crew then try to enter your ship, it's definitely his ship if he has control of it and you don't.

Question: When on the pad on foot, can you enter the fleet carrier?

What? Of course you can, you just go to the lift and select the concourse, have you tried that at all? Why wouldn't you try that? I've already suggested you go back to the concourse, have you just been standing on the pad all this time trying to enter his ship maybe?

It seems I am not communicating my situation. Very Sorry.
We were both docked. Both on concourse. bad instance. Both logged off. Logged back on and instance fixed. I tried to enter my ship. No blue entry point.
He stood under my ship and activated my entry point. I then entered my ship and he went and entered his and left.
After I read your replies, i took a ship to a space port in Salikians. I exited the ship. And was in the concourse as if I had walked from my ship, but that didn't happen. I turned around and saw the lifts. I went close and was informed no accessible ship. I went to other lifts and all had similar comments. No shuttles, no dropships, no player ship.
I had to log off and tried to play Horizons. The game wont let me play Horizons.
I think the only thing to do is lodge a ticket.

The text is Express lift / Cannot interact / No accesible ships docked.

I have tried to lodge a ticket, but since the updates, I don't see how to do that anymore.
I have DXDIAg and netlog.
i tried Horizons. Failed. My son poked around for a while, then tried Horizons. It worked that time. I am on my carrier in Horizons.
Worried about going back to Odyssey, but will do it.
