We are approaching the half year mark since carriers have been released, and I wanted to share my financial results.
I have been setting up buy and sell orders, in an effort to try and cover the running costs of a carrier.
Please note that some of the numbers are calculated.

It seems possible to cover the costs, but uncertainty awaits the next 6 months.
The current revamping of mineral prices, and of cause Odyssey. So... yea!

This is really cool to see! Out of curiosity: can you detail your market operations? What were you selling and buying during those months?

Basically it is going to be commodities that are not sold from NPC stations. The most well know being Painite.

This is interesting, good to see some positive data about this approach to carrier ownership. Is your kiosk carrier mobile or did you stay put for the entire 25 weeks?

I stayed the same place for the majority, having done just over 5k ly travel.

Infact the first day I got the carrier, I put up a buyorder for 500 pcs Tritium @ 1000% - just for fun. This expense is archived under Imports
The rest I imported alot cheaper during the first few weeks.

If you're turning a profit on Carrier commodity trading then come and work in my FC market. The NPC guy I hired hasn't a clue on trading. In fact, I have to tell him where the market is every time I visit my FC.
