Fleet Carrier ideas post release 11

Loving being able to step out onto my carrier. Few suggestions:

1. That poor lonely single screen in the concourse
Maybe have one more/a couple more in other locations - maybe near the seating, or up on the bridge area/ready room?

2. Extended functions - system scanning
If you're paying for a Universal Cartographics module, potentially the ability to honk and/or scan the system whilst you're sitting in your command chair - instead of having to to use your ship. I'm SURE that a huge scanning array would be available in such a large vessel

3. Data
Accessing data on current system - political/economic/security state, factions etc would be VERY useful from the command chair

4. Carrier management available somehow that isn't the little touch screen, or back in your ship - to give you that important "this is MY carrier and I'm in charge here" feel

5. Journal
The journal data files - when docking or disembarking, being able to tell that this is YOUR carrier, and the carrierstats would be grand (even if not yours). Also, at load of game, being given data on your carrier current location plus its stats. Also - your carrier cargo, stuff to do with that ruddy bartender and their stock etc.
When the carrier jumps - even if you're NOT on it - an entry for that would be grand!

6. "life" on the carrier.
Maybe the odd faction aligned NPC walking about in the public area.

Cheers, and keep up the good work

With the addition of the 3 new services I would like to see the 25,000 tons max limit increased to 26,000 tons.

I'd also LOVE to see the option of auto moving Tritium from the Cargo hold, if there is any in cargo, to the fuel tank by the NPC employed to actually manage Tritium.

Have the bar always present for carriers. Just leave off the bartender trade/sell feature without the service being bought.

Have the shipyard always on, just leave off the ability for naught but the owner to use its services without the shipyard being added just like the in-ship version of access.

When arriving at your carrier having them at least acknowledge that you are the owner. "Welcome to our carrier" annoys me every time.

That's something we are adding in the next release of the HCS Voicepacks. A 'welcome back' from whoever your crew number 1 is. In the absence of the carrier/game doing so.
