Ships Sidewinder Mk. I Fleet Carrier in debt, need advice

Gonna try to be short, so here is the situation:
Fleet Carrier out 5000Ly from bubble. I am parked on it with a Sidewinder, cause that was the last ship i used. Fleet Carrier is in debt and apparently because of that i cant switch now between my own ships? My understanding was that for the owner, the shipyard and outfitting is a basic service. i cant refuel my own carrier, cause i cant transfer Tritium from storage to my ship, because im in a freakin sidewinder.

Is there a way to transfer Tritium directly from storage to the Tritium Depot? and if not, why the hell not?
Am i not supposed to be able to switch between my ships regardless of the Carrier Balance? I dont even have shipyard installed, how is the service offline?

Yep, that's how it works. You run out of money and everyone and everything stops working. You'll just have to decommission the carrier and let the game sort out where you end up. You'll get most of the carrier money back, and go from there.

Looks pretty dire. If they are going to take it soon, I'd let them, you'd get a bunch of credits back. If it's going to be a while, take the escape capsule. What have you got to lose? You can at least earn enough money to do a ship transfer (?).

I haven't ran across this situation, but doesn't seem like a bunch of easy decisions lie ahead.

My advice (not that it will help now) is like the old ship and insurance mantra dont take a Carrier out without at least a few months rent.

i just dont understand the logic behind it. i could still use the carrier to jump if it had tritium, but i cant just simply walk into another hangar to use my other ships? this feels like its not intended. changing and equipping ships is not even a buyable option for the owner. it comes with the carrier by default. im pretty sure it always should be available, like the description says.

You haven't paid the crew, they are tools down in the bar mate :ROFLMAO:
There is no shipyard.

If your carrier bank is in debt, do you have any credits in your normal account? If you do, transfer to the carrier balance.

First: This. Second: The logic behind this is: Not paying your bills has consequences. Yes yes, game should not be a second job, and all that. We have heard it all before. But it is a game with a simulated economy, even if it is a ruined one. You gots to pay your bills, or people will not work for you.

If you look at the original post (upper right of pic), the ex-wife took it all.

OP didn't complain they had no credits, they complained the carrier crew stopped working. It's a tough spot, but being broke does have consequences. And it should. The Elite galaxy is a hard place to live in :).

i totally forgot there are stations all over the galaxy, there was a station like 20 jump from my carrier. by the time i got there with my sidey, i made about 350million credits.
in the end, being broke was a slight inconvenience. at this point i would just turn off weekly upkeep and let the remaining players finally have some fun instead of worry about chores.
