Personally I don't have hope for it, I expect it to be another new feature down the drain for VR users. I am happy to be proven wrong though.
Maybe the external camera workaround will allow me to watch, even if I won't be able to interact with anything (not much to do while jumping anyhow)

On the preview that was on the livestream when Alf was next to the captains chair and pointed his cursor at it an (interact) prompt appeared, I am assuming there is some interactivity possible with the captains chair, and if it's not sit down and tell all the lazy beggars I pay to run the Carrier thay need to buck up and do what they are payed to do I will be sorely disappointed!
I'm looking forward to that interaction being 'Open Carrier Services' that takes you to the normal admin screen. Oh the salt
Yes. You can sit (interact [E]) in the Captain's chair, and watch from there during a jump. It's amazing!
That was 5 months ago leading up to Fleet Carrier interior release, well all know that now, no need to resurrect the thread, it has no current relevance!
