Fleet Carrier Market Management Filters do not work

When I go to my Fleet Carrier's commodity trading screen and then Market Management I get a huge list of all commodities present in the game. There is a handy filter button so that I can filter out commodities, for instance, the ones that I do not have in stock. I can also filter by category if I wish. However, none of the filter options appear to affect the list of commodities.

Is the filter broken?

Never mind...apparently there's some magic I don't understand. When I clear ALL of the filters first it seems to work

And unfortunately, every time you show list of commodities filter is reset. I usually show only commodities that I have, and I have to set this filter every time.
