You get free ship storage. Something is free just not a lot.
Carriers could use a quality of life balance pass. I doubt they'll do it but I don't think upkeep is having the intended effect with credit inflation and the release of the squadron carriers might be a good time to just remove upkeep. There's some market improvements that'd be good and the shipyard not taking cargo space would be amazing for colonisation group play.

The entire economy could, tbh, following the crazy Credits inflation over the past 10 years.
I agree but I try and keep my suggestions to things that are small and stand alone in the vague hope that one could be picked up. A full economy balance pass would be nice. Trailblazers seems to have doubled down on the existing market structure so I don't think that's on the cards even in a full expansion.
If bills of a couple of tens of millions per week are large enough to make you pay attention then it is possible that a Fleet Carrier, with that many extras, is not for you.
We get almost all the facilities of a station shipyard and outfitting without even having to install them on the carrier.
ED is not big on perks.
Doesn't the refuel money go into the carrier balance, so that you're effectively paying yourself ? Credits earned from refuelling is a statistic in my carrier balance.
Please don't assume that everybody is rich and make everything more expensive.
I am a casual player and I'm not rich, what is inexpensive to you is still a challenge for me.

I don't assume anything. I'm not super rich myself. But the game economy should be well balanced. It is anything but, currently.
IINM, the R/R/R services cost disappears into the void. Only the tariff goes to the FC balance.
