Is it just me (or my home system: Synuefe FT-W B48-2) or does it seem that Fleet Carriers are generally being parked very near a target star?
When I ask my carrier to be parked near the primary star it ends up only1.29 LS away (every time). In order to fly to another station (also in orbit of the same star) I have to low wake straight away from the star and then turn back or I will literally burn up. (In basically any ship - this isn't a heat management issue) I always get a temp warning but as long as I turn directly away from the star the heat only reaches about 90%. Nothing close to an orbital tangent is possible...
Also, any ship landing at my carrier will start scooping once it drops out of wake (if it has a scoop).
I'm supplying an orbital construction site which also orbits the star and its at 5.27LS from the star. No such problems at that distance.
So, is this a thing? Do FC's get closer orbits then stations? Anyone else seeing this?
