Fleet Carrier Purchase Failed

I saved up 5 billion credits... Just to keep getting kicked out of the game after "Fleet carrier purchase failed" and "Black adder" error... Why? :'(

Please help?

In all the games I've played over the course of my life. This game has been the most disappointing, not to mention the grind I have to go through just to finally get a fleet carrier... And then this...
 
Firstly, it doesn't have to be a permanent error, maybe you've discovered a new 9.01 bug or maybe there's just something wrong with your profile. You could try again later. If the problem persists, I'd recommend opening a ticket at customer support (https://customersupport.frontier.co.uk/hc/en-us/categories/4404016831378-Elite-Dangerous-).

Secondly, you are aware that the minimal fleet carrier weekly upkeep is 5 million? You might want to save up some more money before you buy one (or wait longer and pray for another discount CG).
 
I do, in fact I have researched and watched videos about FCs while doing missions to keep myself from getting bored as I save up for it...

Thanks though, I'll try to open a ticket as you suggested.
 
If you want the fleet carrier experience while waiting for the bug to be fixed, you could always donate some Tritium at mine.;)
Maybe I could, where's your carrier at? maybe I could drop some off if ever I happen to pass by with some tritium in my cargo. :)

Tritium is pretty expensive if you are too lazy to mine it for yourself(like me), keep it. I just set up a 1b cr buy order at 1.5 times market value and commanders flock to sell me their tritium and basically fill my hull
 
Still hasn't been fixed. OMFG... Now I know why people leave this game... FDev support can quickly respond to rude comments, but leaves people asking for assistance in the dust. I understand that these take time to get fixed, but my ticket hasn't even been acknowledged. FDev is killing this game... More bugs than fixes each update.
 
That’s surprising - the last time I submitted a support request, I got a reply in 24 hours. (I’m assuming you sent a direct message to support, rather than opening something in the issue tracker?) Try following up to the ticket yourself, and see if that shakes something loose.

I also have experienced fast response times when putting in a message to customer support, as opposed of course to response times for tickets on the bug tracker which rarely if ever get a response.
 
I have sent both an e-mail ticket to support, and a ticket on the bug tracker. All I got is an auto reply, minutes after I sent them an e-mail saying that it will be looked at.

I sent a follow up e-mail earlier... Just gonna have to wait again...

FDev, please don't make me wait weeks for this to be fixed. Holidays are coming and I'd rather buy newly painted ships with some ship kits and decorations than buy Star Citizen and migrate there.
