General Fleet carrier Quality Of Life Improvements??

Just a couple thoughts. Could we have local system news, bounty boards and traffic reports in our fleets? Could we also have FCs be included in the traffic report.

Is there anyway we could have more direct control over our perms for our commodity markets? Like maybe even only allowing access to very specific CMDRs. Not just a squadron/friend/nobody feature.

What is the reason we can’t collect weekly power play pay on our fcs? Seems there’s no reason to chase down this money but I could be wrong.

Could there be some type of message board or something for FC owners? Don’t know if this really will get any use. Again just a thought.

I should say I am very happy with the fleet carriers and understand you guys have a long list of issues but I think these options might be beneficial to a lot of us. Well at least the ones that actually use these features. The majority probably don’t.

I'd also add some:
  1. If you disable fleet carriers in system map filter you should still be able to see your own FC.
  2. Ability to change the orbit of FC without leaving space body (like jumping to another system or planet).
  3. Ability to supply FC in systems without Carrier Administration with Carrier Services and stocks by delivering components to the FC from the systems with Carrier Administration (for example your FC generates quests to fetch 2000 tons of "carrier service components" and 100 passengers for "the crew of carrier service" from a station with Carrier Administration).
 
Much rather have advanced route plotting, and the ability to refuel directly from cargo without being present on FC.
 
I'd be happy to be able to ser an X amount of commodities to be sold upon establishing the price. Currently I can only place a sell order for my whole stock or nothing.
 
Can anybody tell me the reason FC are scatter so thick through the bubble you almost trip over them.? What is their purpose ? Why was so much development time spent on something that seems so useless. Or what am I missing about them?

Start a new thread in the general discussion about this. This thread is about QoL improvements.

1. I like the random orbit mechanic, it keeps some balance so everyone isn't constantly moving to maximize their orbit ergo minimize their travel time ergo maximize their cr/min.
2. Even with FCs there has to be some trade off. It cannot simply be a complete advantage without having some drawbacks.
3. I would like to be able to know who visited my carrier, and to see who is currently aboard (might be hard with the carrier existing across instances and modes).
4. I want to see my carrier jump
5. better lighting on deck
6. Flags! I want to be able to display a flag or symbol like pirate outposts display
7. Recognition. I want my carrier to recognize me not as just a random pilot.
8. Why does a space carrier have a top and bottom? Why not have landing pads on each side? I want one large pad on the other side of the carrier, for the owner.
