Newcomer / Intro Fleet Carriers and Respawning

Question:

A cmdr is in deep space with their fleet carrier. The cmdr is exploring in a ship (not on carrier) and sets the carrier to jump to new location. When the carrier has jumped does the cmdr's respawn location go with the carrier? Or is it lost, cmdr being forced to respawn somewhere else?

Well a bookmark applied to the carrier usually takes you too the carriers current location so I would say probably.
