Fleet Carriers connection issue

Hi,
Since the Fleet carrier update I keep getting invalid machine ID. Connection lost. error. I have followed the thread and ping -t -l 900 bbc.co.uk or ping -t -l 8.8.8.8 with no dropouts. This issue only persists with the Elite Dangerous Fleet Carriers (Horisons) Elite Dangerous seems ok and no issue
Any help with this

probably just the beta servers hiccupping to your location if the normal game works ok
if that don't work maybe try the launcher options file validator or a new launcher eg https://support.frontier.co.uk/kb/faq.php?id=72

ah yea that sounds much more probable

go to options in launcher and log out machine. then log back in and put verification code and you should be good. fixed mine
