General Fleet Carriers: variable jump spool-up time function of distance

Hi,

Proposal: variable jump charge-up time dependant on distance to target.
Description: from 15 minutes to 500ly away would drop down to a minimum of 5 minutes for in-system and neighbouring systems. I mean, it makes sense.....

The devs have already stated that the jump time period is as short as they can practically make it, so the only effect of this would be to make the jump time waits longer.

So 15 minutes for local systems, what, an hour for a 500ly jump?
 
No. 15 minutes for 500 and lower for shorter distances. It doesn't make any sense to be the same charge-up time for all distances

The Devs have stated multiple times they cannot reduce it any further than they have, so if you want variable times it can only get longer for long distance jumps, that's it, there's really no discussion to be had on that point, it cannot be made shorter!
