Flight assist off : flight tutorial (Isinona Standards)

After recent viewing of Isinona's videos on YouTube.
I would argue they are the best FAO pilot we can learn from on YouTube.

The videos make the game more enjoyable in a how to play, how to fly, and how to immerse yourself way.

I would like to see Frontier, implement, or hire Isinona to make flight assist off training missions.

I would happily pay, as would others, even if not FAO all the time, the option to learn such skills would add to the game and it's players immersion.

Even if it's just asteroid runs, or timed gates to fly through.
Something to extend and practice manouvres outside the main game to hone skills, or even within it as some kind of academy is sorely needed. After all, all we are doing at present is piloting, shouldn't we have the best trainers, and the chance to hone our skills.

I use it a lot when turning and boosting but nobody is flying FA-OFF all the time with a mouse and keyboard, pretty sure about that.

Why not simply learn it yourself? He? I fly a lot FAO and it's not that hard to learn.

A Joystick is recommended IMHO. It just let's you twist and swisst and turn the ship at once. A mouse is pretty limited.

You also have the right training environment. Go to the training mission with the canisters, no other ship around. Press FAO and here you go, little chubby.

It makes fun a lot but as someone mentioned, noone ever flies FAO all the time. You can see it in the video that he also switches it off sometimes. It's just just not handy. Especially in combat. You use it to turn and do nasty stuff like circeling around an asteroid to get out of the way and respawn quickly. But you're not just 100% flying FAO.

Just get to the training environment and train yourself. It's all about feeling. Who the hell needs a tutor? : )

I tried the training environment, I am getting somewhere just flying through the asteroids, just thought a flight academy would be a nice addition. I was under the understanding from their comments and videos that they do fly FAO ALL the time, it is something I would love to do and intend spending more time following their videos. I do have a hotas x stick same as them. I will endeavour to continue, thanks for your comments

Yes, just try to get it done. It's not that hard. You just have to have a calm hand and being able to move the stick milimeter-wise ;-)
and get a feeling for the entire thing. The thing is that once you pushed your ship in one direction, it will not stop flying in that direction if you e.g. turn your ship. You have to actively power/steer against the initial push to get the ship head somewhere else. It's great in combat but I normally switch FAO off after a turn as you can't aim propperly. The crosshair moves like the tail of a cow.
