Hi,
Took my first step into my ship today..... not sure where it is now as I got stuck and just logged (probably blown up).
However I have been reading and watching youtube videos and noticed that there is a high recommendation to use FA off. I assume that combat is perfectly fine without it but equally imagine that the better fighters out there play with it off.
However having just tried it in practice it does make targeting very very hard. I play with a joystick and was essentially unable to hit a target with fixed lasers. Once I released the button I had full control again and I am wondering if that is how people use it. Should it be used as a Pulse mechanism where I can strafe someone, maintain my crosshairs without worrying about orbiting speed and then enable FA to then pursue the target?
OR.... am I just bad at targeting and should I be able to take things down whilst it is off?
Regards
