This is technically a question concerning the xbox version, but it pertains to a feature not existent in the xbox version, so putting it in that subforum would be an exercise in futility.
Anyways....
Having been an xbox player for a year or so, and having recently gotten ED for my laptop (I still play with an xbox controller), I've noticed differences here and there. One interesting difference is that the PC has a settings category in controls called "flight landing override." I'm assuming most everyone knows what it does, but if not, I'll quickly explain: it allows you to set an alternate flight control scheme for when the landing gear is deployed.
Once I knew it existed, I made the simple change of switching my yaw control (left and right on the right-hand stick), to lateral thrust. Lateral thrust also being something I didn't even know the game had, since it isn't bound to anything by default on xbox. (But, how could it, with the limitations of the controller?)
I still play on xbox with my friends, and I discovered that this entire feature doesn't exist on the xbox. Any real reason?
