If your personal log files are not being stored on the m.2/ HDD like every one else are then you need to fix the PC storage...
Reverse what ever you did to cause windows to not allow the game to write to those file storage folder in the users save game folder......
That will change based on which windows system your using most likely and all the extra programs you have on that system...
Unlike other apps that put the Save game folder in the Appdata folder these logs are per user and put in save game folder in the root section of the users folder...
Why fdev needed there own folder i dont know... It needs to write over 7 files there not just your logs...

I have more than 3 TB storage on that drive...
last entry was 18.03.2022. I'm on Expedition now and don't get data.....
Check your permissions on the saved games folder, if that doesn't fix it backup

Then uninstall Elite and reinstall
Sorry if this is information that is already know......... It is sometimes difficult to ascertain the knowledge and experience of some posters.
If the journal files are not being written to the "saved game" folders then the folder is probably write protected, preventing ED from writing files there. Either that or ED is getting confused as to where the "Saved games" folder is and is is writing elsewhere.
If you mean that the files are not showing up in EDSM, it is probably because the 3rd party software is unable to write to the EDSM server. This is probably due to your API code being wrong or missing in the 3rd party software, the option to sync to ESDM is switched off in the 3rd party software, the "Saved games" folder specified is wrong or because there is no 3rd party software running.
Or is could be because you are running the legacy version of ED. EDSM now only collects data from the live version.
- ED writes journal files to a folder under your "saved games" folder i.e. C:\Users\<username>\Saved Games\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous, where <username> is the username you were logged into when playing ED.
- You need a third party software to transfer the information in your journals to EDSM, e.g. EDDI or EDDiscovery.
- EDSM stores this information on its server and you can then access it via their website.
