Hello, firstly I'm sorry if this has been suggested a lot already, on my search I've only found 1 person suggesting it and the thread was from 2014.
So, when flying in FA-OFF a problem I'm having is to know where my ship is heading, as it's flight direction is not the same as to where it's nose is pointing (like with FA-ON).
So I liked the idea of having some kind of flight HUD as modern fighters jets have, it could also be customizable since not everyone would like a lot of things on the screen. But on the very least, it would be nice already if we could have just some kind of flight path marker, showing the direction the ship is moving (the space dust is not that accurate), and in case we are facing backwards from where the ship is moving, we could have a retrograde marker on the screen, meaning the ship is moving to the opposite direction. Some kind of 3d sensor on the ship showing where the nose is pointing and where the ship is moving could be helpful as well.
I think this improvement (with an Attitude (climb\descent) maker as well) would be quite nice when the planetary landing expansion comes out, so we could have some orientation when flying close to the ground or in low visibility environments.
Thanks for reading
