Flight stick remap software

Currently using a T-flight HOTAS X set up(with extra arduino USB thumbstick), EDtracker and voice attack.

Now I'd like to have a button set up which will push-to-talk whilst cancelling voice attack, so contacts don't have to listen to me talking to my ship.

With Elite having push-to-mute, rather than push-to-talk, is there any software that would allow me to remap one of my flight stick buttons to be reversed, i.e. When I am not pushing the button the software sends the signal that the button is being pushed, and when I push the button the software sends the signal that the button has been released?

Mouse and Keyboard is still the best way to fly if you know how to map your keys and layout your Yaw/Roll properly. Joysticks and throttle shifters are just too limited in combat and require you to change hands to buttons too often. Unless you're using macro's which I would consider to be cheating because I could use the same macro's but I don't.

I have my layout on naga mouse and keypad and I never have to reach for anything, in fact I can control even lateral and vertical thrusts simply using jump buttons. My controls are almost the same as they were when I played SWG- Jump to Light Speed, and I haven't missed a beat in this game. Still yet to lose a single fight in PvP, and I have blown about 50 CMDR's out of the sky. Some of whom where flying ships much higher in credit value than my own.

i don't need to move my hands off my thrustmaster t-flight while in combat. just need to make good use of elite's built in shift buttons to get enough functionality at my fingertips for my reasonably prices HOTAS setup.

to the OP you can take a look at GlovePIE, it lets you do all sorts of things with regard to remapping and i'm sure reversing a button would be possible. you would need to mess with some code though, there are examples but for the trick you need to pull off the UI won't have enough flexibility.
