Fly assist off Level 2

After many months of learning I just reached the second level, nine more to go. I haven't notice any difference in combat just the pitch is bit faster.
Great job. I have been thinking about going to FA off flight, as I already use it a lot in combat especially turning. I have watched some cmdrs who are very proficient in FA off and it seems like they have a distinct advantage in staying on target in a fight. There are those that say that there is no real advantage, but it sure seems like there is when you watch them in action either on twitch, or youtube vids.

Im using x52 pro with keyboard and mouse. I know the feeling in combat I cannot help myself anymore in combat 100% flight assist off for me, I cannot break that habit now.
I switch between them during combat. maneuvering with fa off and then switch to fa on to steady over a subsystem and repeat.
your thrust power is shared so fa-off gives you your full thrust in the direction you're telling it without having a bunch of other thrusters activated to correct your velocity to by forward facing as you move. This lets you rotate and spin and generally change direction faster in most case (especially those where you dont care about drift)
