Newcomer / Intro flying in Wing in a Group - how does it go, and what are the trade benefits?

Three of us will form a Group for joint travel and trade. I've never flown in a Group, and those two are total newbies to ED. So my questions are:

1 - When we form a Wing, does just one of us (one who formed that Wing) plot the jump and go into hyperspace and those two automatically follow? (providing, of course, their ships have that range) And for landing, I guess it's everyone for himself, right?

2 - In trade, is there any benefit in trading as a Wing? Do we get any bonuses from the station?

thank you!

1) You can 'lock on' to a wingman's FSD. If you do, you'll go where he goes. If he is interdicted you'll drop out as well if you're close enough. Landing doesnt change.
2) Yes, you get a 5% bonus income of whatever your wingman is getting. So if you're with four, you'll get an additional 15%.

Several of my friends just picked up this game and are doing their first trade runs with me. Noobs are painfully slow haha. But 5% of my 452T cargo is good for them and I kinda like being the 'bodyguard' of the group. :)
Navlock is a bit dodgy though at times. I just nav manually and navlock if they get interdicted.... dropping 20km+ from stations is a bit annoying.

When travelling in a wing we regularly turn-off the nav-lock and use the target wingman's target key binding. That way we jump together rather than lagging behind when using nav-lock. Also we all drop into the station at 10km if nav-lock is off.

Can turn it on when cruising in SC for interdictions. Last time used though it was quite dodgy, regularly not working as it should. Also not always awarding trade bonds when it should...
