Has anyone tried this.

it really is quite strange. You want to do it in a ship with a large canopy. My 2 faves are the asp and the vulture for this.

I am actually thinking of setting up something so I can higher the level of my hotas and play like this more regularly.

Did this when I got my first T6, undocked while standing in front of my desk. only problem was that standing on the bridge at takeoff is so awesome that I boosted (stupid captain grin on my face admiring the station) into the T9 entering the Bay.

Docking computer is pretty surreal while standing in the rift, especially in a Lakon. Am looking forward to trying the new outpost docking when I get back to ED. Apparently it's like a rollercoaster ride.

It's a great thing to do, especially in small ships when you can stick your head out the window. Be sure to mute audio when you do this. Incredible. Oh and all targeting is gone which is great for immersion
