Yeah. They'll offer to take my secret mission cargo worth 1.3 million and give me 50 grand for it. I usually shoot them

No because they always offer a       pay.

They basically ask you to stop doing what you're doing. If you accept, you get less payout, much less. If you say no, nothing bad happens and your mission goes on like normal.

I'm guessing its supposed to be a morality thing, but it doesn't translate well. I don't think anyone actually ever does it.

I was once offered 500k (100k more) by the general I was sent to assassinate, to assassinate the other general that originally sent me.

If your trying to undermine a local faction it's a way of doing it , take a mission agree to swap it to the follow my wake npc and it reduces the faction by a small fraction.

Indeed.

But i only do this if i want to do something for the faction i work for, but they dont have any missions for me at that moment.
