Follow-On Missions

I have several Follow-On missions on my board and I don't want to do these missions. Will they eventually disappear? How long? I have some over a week old. Is there a way to get rid of these?

I hardly ever do them either, they usually go away after a few days.

If you take a mission them immediately abandon it (without undocking) I don't think there is any rep penalty. Don't do this for cargo delivery missions though or you will get a fine even if you haven't taken the cargo on-board.

I just leave them, they go eventually :)

I htink they last for 28 days, or something?

They take up physical space on the board, but they don't "steal a mission slot" from other missions - they're bonus missions. So they don't really hurt.

The follow-up delivery misisons usually ask you to only deliver 2 o 3 tonnes, so can be done in pretty much any ship, and they're much more profitable on a per-tonne basis than regular delivery missions.

This. I am on best terms with the Nameless of Carcosa and I regularly get G5 mat missions as follow-ups. When you're there, they are totally worth it.
Yesterday I got a pirate 'Vette assassination Mission which netted me 5 biotech conductors, and several G5 mats from the Elite 'Vette (y)
