Food Cost ?

Dear all,

I'm trying to finish the Career game with gold star on the Elephant/Zebra and Girafle/Springbok + attraction campagn but my food cost increase and put my Zoo in Bankrupt quickly after a few years.
I did not add animals, just got some kids.

What should i do ?
Food Cost was 25000 and next year 52000 ...i'm now with a -70000 money account.

I need help ^^

Remove the kids to storage. It's always the kids these little parasites. As long as there are animals in the habitats, your money should go back up again. Maybe store some of the elders as well, depending on how many you have. You may also check the wages of your staff and the zoo entrance fee. Maybe you have room for an other habitat as well?

It's only certain animals that have crazy food costs.

You can see which ones are costing you a ton of cash if you go to the habitats tab of the zoo-animals screen. The cost shown to maintain the habitats is mostly food for the expensive ones. Just remove adults while children mature for those, and control breeding with contraception so you don't have too many kids at once. Elephants are ridiculously expensive to feed, especially the ones with the really high size value. For those I always, always remove at least some of the adults while children are maturing.
