I think this is one of the least spoken Sci-fi shows to date. Which is a shame because it is amazing. It is a story set in a much better version of our world from a Space Exploration point of view.

Season 1 - set in 1969:

Season 2 - set in 1983:

Season 3 - set in 1992:

My my, episode 3 was a pleasent surprise.
Didn't expected a time skip and launch to Mars already so soon. Can't wait to see what trouble they will get in to on the way to Mars in the next 7 episodes. All 3 ships looked amazing

Thanks for the spoiler tag there, it's on the menu for me and the missus tonight.

The main nitpick I have with it though is that many episodes are more "soap opera that just happens to feature astronauts" for my taste, but the wife LOVES it.

Really one of a kind Sci-Fi show. Looking forward to season 4.
The ending kind of left it hanging whether they will survive on mars or not, but adding N.Korea was a big surprise.
Their take on alternative present day time would be interesting to see in Season 4, and where their new cheap and clean source of energy will take them.

I am up to S3 E5 and I am happy that they finally overcame the one glaring annoyance that had bugged me:

the transmission delay - all that instant / normal conversation with the moon really gripped my **** - finally on the Mars trip the delay gets included.

The other thing that trips it up for me is

no counter-intelligence on the US side - where is the CIA and FBI with all this treason? Why are KGB Orcs alowed in the JSC?

Any idea when/where I can watch this legally in germany? It's on my list for a long long time.

Can you not get Apple TV+ over there? They have a free trial period (first month) but the monthly fee can be cancelled any time - no minimum term. That is the situation in the UK.

BTW - "Slow Horses" is well worth a watch too and don't forget "Foundation".

Good that Apple TV+ is available in my country (Poland) within Apple One subscription.
Would take it (for this + Foundation), but I think it would be more valuable if I became apple-fan myself (lol).
