In VR the cubes on the scanner are cubes; the tetrahedrons are tetrahedrons. The ship and target holograms next to the scanner are hologram.

Planets, moons, stars on the scanner? 2D billboards sprites.

Literally unplayable.

Joking aside.
I remember when FD converted the 2D target and the ship icon (left and right of the scanner) to holograms. It was a nice touch. I think it would be cool to have spheres on the scanner instead of sprites.
I wonder if there is any reason why FD didn't do this for the planets and stars in the first place? They do grow and shrink? Clipping issues?

Mwa ha ha! Scanner - Sthwammer. I couldn't care less about it! I just want to ruin it for others. So they ragequit and I can haz their stuff! Hehehehehee!

It’s called “hyperbole”. Must be an Eve player. I see “bug reports” on r/Eve with things like misspellings or singular/plural inconsistencies and labeled as “unplayable.” Just a joke, really.
