[hotas] Got bored shooting up NPCs in Isinor, noticed I was ranked DUKE (26%) on this (my second) account, decided to take a break and headed over to Ngalinn to up my RANK to KING, stopping off in Muang to add experimental effects to all my beam lasers.
Even though Ngalinn is in WAR state and Mainani in NONE state there are plenty of available data delivery missions and it took only two laps to get ALLIED with all the local factions. At first I did not even need to flip boards and even at the end I only had to flip once or twice.
I opted for the REP+++ payment option for every mission which paid less in credits but raised my REP with the Empire by an average of 22% PER LAP.
After 10 laps my Empire RANK is KING (100%):
This took about 2 and 1/2 hours including a half-hour break when I got bored, plus two hours I had to sit on a nearby planet's surface with all my systems shut down, waiting out a notoriety bump incurred when I "accidentally" [arrrr] blew up an Empire security goon that had the temerity to interdict my ship when I initially entered the Ngalinn system. That was the only interdiction faced during my time in the two systems, flying almost exclusively in OPEN mode.
So the Ngalinn/Mainani Empire RANK farm is blooming nicely for anyone who would like to quickly up their Empire RANK. o7
