For God's sake, please don't let us accept missions that we cannot accomplish!

I have accepted two rank progression missions and cannot accomplish them, because the destination is an outpost, I'm flying a Clipper, and cannot switch the silly 3t cargo over a smaller ship!
Let us move the cargo from ship to ship or please don't make those missions acceptable, as for the ones requiring a cargo space we don't have.
This has been talked about long ago and still remains a game breaking bug. Please!

I also want more mission variety. Finding missions that are within my skill-set and patience level is quite the chore.

and still remains a game breaking bug. Please!

While i agree this could do with changing, and i recall devs did say they would think about changing it at one point...

1) There are many more higher priority issues that need addressing

2) This is not a game breaking bug, its rather minor.

3) You were aware of the issue of not being able to land at outposts in big ships, and yet you still fail to check mission destination? Well, you only have yourself to blame. Abandon mission, don't do it again.

Good thing is the progression missions will return soon after you cancel them. Not a big deal.

I think it would be a good idea if places in a Transaction were hotlinks into the galaxy/system maps. It should still be on us to check if we can fit in the door though!

I think outposts should at least have a docking collar so large ship pilots can access a limited selection of station services. Maybe not outfitting/sell ship, maybe not even repair. But market (even an outpost has cargo lighters dammit) and pilot federation (it's a computer link) and refuel (ever hear of hoses? Fighter jets refuel in flight every day!) could be accessed.

edit: and I'd really hope someone would invent a way to change out a bad cockpit canopy even if major systems repairs aren't possible without access to a pressurized bay.
