I'd say it's pretty rotten morality pledging to someone because they're "hot" or "cute". Pledge because you genuinely believe (or RP) in their cause or share their principles.

I'd dispute Patreus "knowing he's a baddie". Almost everyone thinks they're right. Why do you think we get so many conflicts in the world, even on an individual level, where BOTH parties claim to be in the right? I believe even Delaine thinks he's right. Oh, I wouldn't say Delaine thinks he's "good" - he's too obviously outcast for that, so he takes that role and owns it by playing UP to the fearsome leader bit - but even Delaine thinks he's RIGHT, that his way of doing things, having the strong survive, is RIGHT. Very few people think of themselves as "bad".

My 2nd character is off to join the princess to make anime movies, more arty than his brother clearly. I would like to point out from the "liberal" (UK sense) point of view, Allisa is the Tony Blair of the Empire, and slavery is clause 4. This is new empire, new, new empire, it is all about" radical" solutions like you know, hay lets ban slavery or something.

As she is (currently) number 1 on the PP billboard, I for one welcome our new, radical, new empire, blue hair (rinse) overlord.
