Selling all the parts out of it and downgrading the rest:

166,661,857cr final balance - 165,109,117cr balance before selling parts = 1,552,740 cr
So parting out the components from the Cobra got us 1,552,740cr vs 1,414,764cr for selling the whole thing outright.
Conclusion: Strip your ship of parts before selling the hull or you don't get as much money back.
