For the love of Braben, please stop treating fines like bounties!

This is the worst change to the game in a long time.

Being a mostly criminal player, I expected massive inconvenience to accompany my play-style.

But between the map bug not showing the interstellar factor on the station service list, and the various other bugs introduced with 3.0, it's kind of miserable when you're trying to stay clean.

I don't think anyone asked for fines to be mishandled in this way.

You could enforce the payment of fines without treating everyone who gets a speeding ticket like a murderer.

They don't treat fines like bounties. All that happens is that you have to use Anonymous Protocols until you pay off the fine. NPC's don't try to kill you, you aren't wanted & you don't need an Interstellar Factor to pay the fine. Can't see what you are whining about, to be honest.

But that must have been a bug, because I can pay them at stations under anonymous protocols now (at least the one I just tested). Weird.

I've had no issues paying off fines either. No IF required.

I like the fact that you are forbidden station service access when you have fines.

Previously you could just do whatever you want and never pays your fines.

The way it's working now is really imo.

Honestly, IMO for fines you should not even need anonymous access. A fine is not a bounty, it should be to have some fines, I should still be able to go and refuel if I have a speed ticket. Cops should act like pirates: ask you to pay the fine or they start shooting you!!
