For Those About to Dock....

So I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I've been playing this game one the XBox One for about a year now and it still hasn't gotten old for me yet. I spend most of my time doing cargo runs in a type 9 with auto docking and one of the things that has become a bit annoying at this point is the selection of music during the docking sequence. I'm not exactly against classical music but I've now had to hear these same three songs to nauseam. Is there any thought being put forward to expand the playlist a bit or even to add a feature like radio stations to space ports?

The 'Blue Danube' is an Elite Docking tradition. I doubt that will ever change. On the PC one can always set the game music volume to zero then go to RadioSidewinder for a dedicated Elite music station. For the Xbox can one access the website while playing ED? Maybe not. Guess play the tunes on the PC while flying on the XBox. Would probably sound better! :)

I rarely use the auto-docking computer (although did on my type 7). You do know that the Blue Danube, one of the selections, is a reference to the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey.

P.S. Thanks Hooplah, I couldn't remember the name.

S.......... these same three songs to nauseam........

The rest of us just have the one tune - "Blue Danube" as per 2001 A Space Odyssey.

If it bugs you just turn it off in the audio menu - I have it muted, just as I have many of the voice "nags" also turned off. (Who needs a voiced countdown?)
