For those who love dinosaurs but aren’t huge fans of JWE

Many people have been stating they want dinosaurs, while a lot of us (myself included) do not want prehistoric animals. However, there’s a game in development (available through steam, there’s a dev blog too) called prehistoric kingdom (for those who don’t know) there is a YouTube channel showing off the game and honestly.. it looks really good... it even shows off some of the movements individual animals will have and more. There’s been a lot of work put into this game, and I definitely recommend you check it out! I don’t know.. maybe this game can satisfy the need for a dino park sim?

I mean look at this... it’s pretty darn amazing

Prehistoric Kingdom looks promising and it seems to share a lot of ideals with Planet Zoo but unfortunately, it also looks like it isn't in Planet Zoo's league. For example, the amount of customization and the extent of the player's ability to build. That may change as we get closer to Prehistoric Kingdom's release, however.

I'm still going to hold out hope for some Extinct DLC, but I'm also still going to check Prehistoric Kingdom out and I hope others will do the same.

I've been following this game's development for years, and while it looks like it will be good, I still want an Extinct animals DLC. This doesn't mean I want Dinosaurs in planet zoo, but I wouldn't mind prehistoric mammals. This is due to the fact that Prehistoric kingdom, while allowing more creative freedom than Jurassic World Evolution, it doesn't have a piece by piece building system, so you won't be allowed to build anything you absolutely want.

Personally that is one game I haven't found much interest in. I have been following it long before I even knew of JWE. One of the many reasons that I am not interested in it is that they just seemed to throw feathers on ever dinosaur that might have even remotely had them. I have a pretty big list, but that is one of my pet peeves about that game.

The thing is though, most of the dinosaurs with feathers have an option where you can toggle them on and off. So, if you don't want a feathered t-rex, you can have a scaly one.

I had been following their progress for years too, and I was so excited to see more species of extinct animals, but they made over fifty of them in the game, but when the full version comes out, which I have no idea what kind they'll add next, maybe pterosaurs, marine extinct animals, more cenozoic beasts and dinosaurs.

They are planning to add all of that, but when the game launches I think this year, or next, they will only have dinosaurs and a few extinct animals.
