Well... this now proves the change FDev wanted that the value of the cargo you deliver is increased by distance traveled. Imagine if this would have been Gold or Palladium... 30-60 million?

I still remember the Ceos/Sothis runs... 80 mil for 2 hours of work.... well... mostly supercruise and jumping and with NPC Pirates chasing you like mad... and that was mostly.... Biowaste in the cargohold. :D

EDIT: It was a fun time in ED when it comes to cargo hauling.

Sits back, gets ready to watch the bubble go into a massive Outbreak State, as all the new guys read the topic and start doing Bio-waste deliveries :)

3307 will be the Bubbles Galdemic ? dont think it can be a pandemic when its multiple star systems involved. ?

Lol that storm could become reality indeed :D.

Latest patch change at its finest.

Before it, I could get mission from my home system to deliver 120 imp slaves to near random systems for 10m, most of destinations where at 1000ls range. It was not quite common get such mission, but not so rare as well. Sometimes I could get 2 or 3 at once.

After patch same mission offers 1 or 2 million only, unless destination is atleast 500k ls away.

Gud job Fdevs.

I'm Triple Elite in my main commander, but this is my Free Epic noob, who is now proudly flying a Phantom. The problem is, his ship is a bit basic for some of the missions he takes on above his pay grade.

He saw a nice "kill 7 pirates" mission for several million credits, which looked pretty attractive. Unfortunately, the pirates are in a lawless area where the Nav Beacon is Compromised. It's either take on three pirates at a time in a USS, or try to pick them off one at a time at the CNB. That's progressing, although weapons, shields, hull strength are proving a challenge against these; the repair station is many tens of thousands of light years away, so it becomes a jump to the next system every time.

So he decides to fit more hull armor. Shields to grade 3 engineering with Elvira Martuuk aren't proving enough to keep battling away. He buys armor and then realizes he has too few credits for a rebuy ! Dangerous stuff taking on pirates like that, so he takes a mission offering to carry gold for 3 million. Nice, which leads to this station offering multiple missions to the same place, each for over a million credits to shift Bio Waste.

Not quite enough room in the ship to carry all the biowaste in one go, even with shields removed. Note how the game trolls you sometimes? It puts you just over the limit of what you can carry in one go ! So I resolve to do two journeys ....

... which is how I end up carrying biowaste to a distant, scarcely visited outpost I hope never to have to visit again

As you can see, not a lot happens out here. Cmdr Big_Pete is top of the WANTED list with a bounty of 1800 credits
