Forgot Inara Not Accurate

I made a booboo. So we were expecting to expand to Heilelang from HIP 27855. We'd arranged with the local PMF to expand from there then hand the system back, which we shall do. However we ended up in Nungnges. The reason? Inara does linear distance, not cubed space.

Inara showing the correct distance.
If you need a difference distance, I suggest you calculate it.

If you need software to tell you who will expand where, Canonn System Numberwang is publically available on GitHub for any Python Programmers to use/copy

I found out why it was wrong. If you search for systems to expand to, then it is linear. If you search for the actual system then click the button next to it for nearest inhabited system, that is cubed space.

The distance between two points in 3D space is always the same, there are no different distance calculations. But yeah, the list of nearest inhabited systems sorts the star systems by distance and limits the list to the expansion cube to help with the expansions. The other outputs in general are just sorted by distance where used (because it's usually counter-productive to exclude systems out of the expansion cube from there, as such lists are intended to provide other kind of information). :)

Was bout to say the "Nearest Inhabited Systems" tab on Inara is all systems within standard expansion range.
