Horizons Formidine Rift Coincidence? Beta settlement.

I did some math to figure out where the lost crew from the beta settlement could have gone, My thought process is as follows.
as we know it all this happened 33 years in the past game time in 3270
and we know that their hyperspace drive was not working and they traveled for 18 days (most likely in supercruise)
before abandoning their ship in a system with an earth-like planet.

as we know we can travel at a maximum of 2500c (2500 times the speed of light) or 2500 Light seconds per second.
if you multiply 2500 by the amount of seconds in an earth day (86400s)you get 216000000 Light seconds per day ..
multiply that by 18 (the number of days they traveled without hyperspace you get 3,888,000,000 ls.
there are 31,536,000 seconds in an earth year. so if you divide the amount of light seconds traveled by the number of seconds in an earth year you should get the number of light years traveled in 18 days at 2500ls per second. which comes out to almost exactly 123 ly give or take some time for detours (123.2876712328767 LY).

based on this math and the fact that we know they are in a system with an earthlike planet we can really narrow it down to systems approximately 123 ly away from the settlement with earthlike planets.

which brings us here

if this system (EAFOTS XD-S C4-1) has an earthlike planet in it what are the chances this is a coincidence?

Bingo

as you can see there are a lot of landable planets in this system.. if the humans made it to the earth-like world there's no way we can land to find them yet. (let's hope that isn't the case)
I have not found a "distress call" in space, (or an abandoned ship) and I am scouring all of the landable planets for evidence, but as you can see there are a lot of them.
If you think this evidence is enough, then please help me scour these planets for evidence of the lost crew.

feel free to update this thread with any information you find, and if you find any "habitable" worlds approximately 123 LY from the abandoned settlement keep me posted I've only checked this one due to it's conveniently exact distance of 123 ly from the settlement.
the fact that it also had an earthlike planet was too much. so the search is on.

777driver has informed me that frameshift speed is 2001 max throwing a wrench in the whole thing....
what were the chances that all that lined me up with that earthlike planet.

Back to the drawing board

so multiply 123 by .2 because the 499 we are taking off of 2500 is approximately 20% of the max speed which would take off 20 % of the max distance
comes out to a maximum of about 98.4 lightyears ... gotta search within that range now.. assuming they could go 2001 LS/S at max speed in frameshift.

Max speed is 2001c

Should also be noted that our method of travel is fairly new, the current FSD's are only supposed to have been around since 3290. Prior to that it was Type 2B drives. 3200 - 3290

don't suppose they had a different max "super cruise" speed?
and can we get a check on that ? i thought we were going 2500

No need to check on that, it's common knowledge, been like that since early beta. Apparently it is nod to 2001 Space odyssey.

so it's all an insane coincidence that all that math lined me up with an earth like planet 123 ly away interesting
