Formidine Rift Expedition

On September 3rd, Delphi will launch an expedition into the Formidine Rift. The carrier TAT Kosmos Gopiy (QBW-56V) will serve as the base for the entire duration of the expedition. The primary goal is further exploration and mapping of the sector. Equipment will remain offline during the voyage, so please make sure your ships are already fully equipped. The shipyard will be online for the duration of the expedition. The planned route passes through some stellar nebulae and places of interest.

Below is the complete list of routes.

The first stop will take place in the Bubble Sector PD-S B4-4. (Holding period: 1 day)
Second stop will be the Heart & Soul Nebula. (Holding period: 1 day)
At the third stop we will be in the Eafots EU-R c4-1 system. (Holding period: 1 day) Here and in neighboring systems are the abandoned settlements of the secret INRA expedition. The alpha site is on Eafots EU-R c4-1 C 2. The beta site is on the Eafots LZ-H b10-0 (D 1) system. The gamma site is located in Eafots RA-G B11-0 (3). Eafots GL-Y e2 (6) hides the last settlement, the Delta site.
The fourth stop will be in Syreadaie JX-F C0(1) system. (Duration: 1 day) There you will find the modern generation ship Zurara.
Last stop will be the micro nebula around Hypau Phlai DV-Y E0. (Holding period: 7-14 days) The goal is to further explore and map the systems around the nebula.

After completing the expedition, the carrier will return to Delphi. (The return will be announced a few days before)

A popular destination these days it seems! I am slowly making my way in that direction so may join up with you folks at some point. 🖖🏼

Edit: Sad panda, only realised you're on Xbox and I'm PS...won't be meeting up with yas after all. Bon voyage!

Info: Before the expedition really starts, I'll make a brief stop with the carrier at LHS 1547 to replenish the tritium supplies. This will take about 1-2 hours.

The expedition takes place across platforms.

For communication I can only refer to the forum, since Discord or something similar is out of the question for me. (Sorry about this, I just don't trust social media services.)
So if you want to share pictures and videos, please do so here. I would also like to use the materials recorded during the expedition for a commemorative video and album.
If someone does not want this, I ask the commander concerned to make it known in the form of a message or a note in the post.

Thank you for your interest in this expedition. See you soon at the Formidine Rift.

Take a Cookie, Relax,... Fly safe.

I am interested in joining your expedition. Taking part in something like this is a new experience for me and an intriguing one. I am about 4000 light years away from Syreadaie JX-F C0 and heading there slowly. Any idea of the date you should be arriving near the Zurara?

I will probably arrive at the Zurara on September 8-9.

Interested here, I hope see you 3rd Sept. onboard.

Heading for Formidine was 3rd on my To Do list. Get the lore, see the sights, unlock Prof. Palin! I guess I can jump it to 1st with this opportunity. Do you have a standard time window UTC you intend to make your jumps? I want to make sure between getting home from work and going to bed to get my sightseeing done. That and I don't want to get to Delphi on Sept. 2nd my time and find you've already left!

Are there any other ship services you recommend we prepare for? Such as mining for Tritium? Will you will have all restocks on? My Keelback miner, which I'd intend to bring along just in case, doesn't have a scoop. So if you don't have refueling on I'll need to bring something bigger.

What exactly is involved in the exploration and mapping of the target systems? I don't have any add-ons, and as old as my PC is I don't intend to get any. I'm sure any extra load would put me over the edge of running smoothly. But if just cashing in Exploration data, or uploading part of my character log, is all that's needed I'll be able to help.

You dont need a mining ship but an exploration vessel with min. 30Ly jumprange. The restocks are always online.

You need only the maingame. Main goal is the further exploration around the Hypau Phlai Nebula.
