Can we have the ability to create in-game outfits/clans.
Much like Warframe, it would be great to have the ability to form our own starbases where we can store old equipment, resources and credits.
- Let the outfit leader find the best location to start building their base station (to pick a star system & Planet, or even in the middle of no-where.
- The base doesn't appear on enemy radar and the location of the base will only be sent to a player once the outfit leader has approved their request.
- The base will be visible to the naked eye (meaning if an enemy follows you, then its too bad so sad). Also will not appear on the frameshift wake scanner which means the enemy can find out which star system you are in, but not the actual location of the base unless they start flying around blind to visually find it)
- Base defenses can be upgraded.
- New sectors of the base can be built to house more defenses, more landing pads, and build automated ships for mining operations.
- There should be an up-keep charged to feed all the workers on the base which means players would need to regularly visit to drop off resources (food & Resources) until you can build your base up to a point where it produces enough food to feed itself, and anything left in storage can be sold off to other systems.
- An outfit may decide to focus more on mining rather than farming or even developing equipment.
If a star-base has been found by the enemy, and they destroy the defenses and are able to manually dock on it, they have the ability to plunder and pillage all the resources from that base.
It would be great to have the ability to coordinate with friends and have some sort of group cooperation going. We might even start seeing inter-player factions forming with massive space battles happening as well.
