Forum is endangering gameplay

I have more fun posting in the Frontiers forum than playing the game

Should the forums shut down?

Are they competiton to the game?

should there be DLC to bnuy for the forum (avatars, special Icons come to mind)

Should there be threats with Elite Dangerous roleplay, server side dice to determine who is hit by an attack and how much damage it caused?

Profile entries that describe what ship an commander flies and there systhem stats?

Mods taking the role of the targoids and serving as game masters?

Thoughts?

If only we could use procedural generation to generate more subforums.
Frontier couldn't even give us that

I've had a ticket open for 30 years about this and i haven't even heard anything.

My problem is that the forum's running costs are too high. There's no real content for it, just a bunch of people complaining which doesn't pay.

NO FORUM NERF!!! Sure, it's totally over-powered and a borderline exploit, but that's how I choose to play my game. I'll fly around in space for half-hour to relax, then come to the forums where the real end-game content is for a couple hours.

Personally i think the Dangerous Discussion and the Group Discussion should be separated from each other. You shouldnt be able to chat around safely in the group discussion and when you have several forum ranks come back into the Dangerous discussion to forum pvp.

The forums are feature complete, that's why.

Well one things for sure, they definitely need to buff the hotas users.
Right now, mouse and keyboard users have a definite advantage in the forums.

Wow, I didnt thought it could be true... but actually Ive to agree... Ive been definitely laughing and having fun more in the forums than in the game itself... that ASP guy... or all those pandas being sad because of being afraid getting killed... oh wait, its called "griefed"... the insurance master and people unpacking their huge bananas of ossumness... I mean Anaclipperondas... hahahahahaha

undock.. and check forums...
exit SC, dock, sell goods... check forums....
load new cargo ... check forums.....
do return trip... check forums....
